Here's a fractal I've had laying around for a couple months now. I've thrown it on the desktop a few times and have been very happy with it, in it's simplicity. This is a variation of the mandelbrot set. Minimal editing in Photoshop CS2.

I like this too ^^ the little curly things are pretty, and the sparks really liven it up. The colors are good too.
